RQ5174 | NSJ Bioreagents | 100ul | 356.15 EUR |
Description: The KLK3 gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Its protein product is a protease present in seminal plasma. It is thought to function normally in the liquefaction of seminal coagulum, presumably by hydrolysis of the high molecular mass seminal vesicle protein. Serum level of this protein, called PSA in the clinical setting, is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostatic carcinoma. [RefSeq] |

R31672 | NSJ Bioreagents | 100 ug | 356.15 EUR |
Description: Prostate-specific antigen (PSA), also known as gamma-seminoprotein or kallikrein-3 (KLK3), is a glycoprotein enzyme encoded in humans by the KLK3 gene. It is a member of the kallikrein-related peptidase family and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. This gene is mapped to 19q13.33. PSA is present in small quantities in the serum of men with healthy prostates, but is often elevated in the presence of prostate cancer or other prostate disorders. It is produced for the ejaculate where it liquifies the semen in the seminal coagulum and allows sperm to swim freely. It is also believed to be instrumental in dissolving the cervical mucous cap, allowing the entry of sperm. PSA level is not a unique indicator of prostate cancer, but may also detect prostatitis or benign prostatic hyperplasia. |

V2003-100UG | NSJ Bioreagents | 100 ug | 349.3 EUR |
Description: This antibody recognizes a single protein of 33-34kDa, identified as the Prostate specific antigen. This PSA antibody is highly specific and stains prostatic secretory and ductal epithelium in both normal and neoplastic tissues. Prostate specific antigen is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease (kallikrein family) exclusively produced by the prostate epithelium, and abundant in seminal fluid. PSA can be detected in the sera of patients with prostatic carcinoma. It is predominantly complexed to a liver-derived serine protease inhibitor, alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT). A higher proportion of serum PSA is complexed to ACT in prostate cancer than in benign hyperplasia. |

PSA is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease (kallikrein family) exclusively produced by the prostate epithelium, and abundant in seminal fluid. PSA can be detected in the sera of patients with prostatic carcinoma. It is predominantly complexed to a liver-derived serine protease inhibitor, alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT). A higher proportion of serum PSA is complexed to ACT in prostate cancer than in benign prostate hyperplasia. This MAb makes an excellent pair with MAb A67-B/E3 for PSA tests. |

Description: Recognizes a single protein of 33-34kDa, identified as the prostate specific antigen (PSA). This MAb is highly specific to PSA and stains prostatic secretory and ductal epithelium in both normal and neoplastic tissues. V7014-100UG | NSJ Bioreagents | 100 ug | 349.3 EUR |
Description: Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. Prostate specific antigen/KLK3 is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. It is a protease present in seminal plasma. [RefSeq] |
